Established in 2002, Bintan Power Plant (PTBPP) was created with a clear mission: to provide a stable and reliable energy supply to regions where frequent power outages and inefficient energy infrastructure were common. PTBPP sought to address these challenges by building state-of-the-art power generation facilities, focusing on natural gas and renewable energy sources to meet the growing energy demands of industrial, residential, and governmental clients across Southeast Asia.
Over the years, PTBPP has become a leading energy provider, prioritizing sustainability and technological advancements. By incorporating Combined Cycle Gas Turbines (CCGT), smart grid systems, and carbon capture technologies, PTBPP ensures not only dependable power delivery but also reduces environmental impact, contributing to the shift toward cleaner energy solutions.
Our Captive Power Plant (CPP) license allows us to manage the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity independently, giving us greater control over service quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
